Adobe Lens Profile Creator

The Adobe Lens Profile Creator lets you determine the lens parameters of a camera in order to correct for distortion and chromatic aberration in programs of the Adobe suite. This includes Adobe Photoshop. The Lens Profile Creator application is available from Adobe's website and runs on Windows and Mac. It characterizes a lens in terms of pincushion/barrel distortion independently for red, green and blue pixels, allowing for accurate and effective compensation of chromatic aberrations.

Note: these targets patterns are compatible with the Adobe Lens Profile Creator. In contrast to our "Checkerboard Targets", they have an odd number of rows and columns, as required by the calibration software tool.

Precision Manufactured

All of our calibration targets are made from aluminium/LDPE composite sheets which offers excellent flatness and stiffness, while being lightweight. Additionally, the composite material offers good thermal stability and corrosion resistance.

The patterns are transferred to the composite material using a specialised precision direct UV (Ultra-Violet) printing process resulting in a durable matte finish. Through extensive testing, we have found this process to be ideal for machine vision applications, where both accuracy, good optical performance and physical robustness are of utmost importance.
